YES Communities and Local Organizations Extend Support to Residents Affected by Tornadoes in Portage, Michigan
/EIN News/ -- Portage, Michigan, May 09, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In the wake of the devastating tornadoes that swept through Portage, Michigan, YES Communities has launched a comprehensive support initiative to aid residents in their recovery efforts. The YES Emergency Response Team drove through the night with their emergency truck and equipment to be onsite and begin providing residents with essential services immediately following the storm.

Sheriff Richard Fuller of Kalamazoo County stated, “In all my career, I have not seen a community so well-orchestrated by the staff to help with recovery efforts. The storm came fast and furious and the ability for our first responders and the community team to address the safety of the residents was incredible.”
